Cyclone Michaung, which arose from the Bay of Bengal, has reached Andhra Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, at exactly 1 pm it made landfall between Nellore-Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The winds are blowing at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour, which can reach 110 kilometers per hour. 5 teams of NDRF and SDRF are deployed in the districts affected by the storm. Coast Guard, Army and Navy ships as well as aircraft are also on standby. 2. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of the storm will continue in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana for the next two days. Heavy impact of the storm is being seen in Chennai also. Greater Chennai Police said 14 subways have been closed due to heavy rains and extensive damage was seen in many areas with trees and electric poles falling. 3.After the storm, electric poles and communication towers have been completely uprooted. Light rain is currently continuing in many districts. CM Naveen Patnaik has put officers of coastal areas on alert. Eastern Railway has canceled more than 60 trains in view of the possibility of rain and wind. 5. Experts said that the cyclone will mainly affect Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Puducherry. Due to this, there may be strong winds and rain in the surrounding areas. It will not have any significant impact on other states. According to weather experts of IMD Rajasthan, most of the impact of Radheshya Michaung will be seen in the eastern coastal states. It will not have any impact on the rest of North India.
