Since its release, everyone has been talking about "Kalki 2898 AD" and eagerly anticipating its second part. This movie has made a tremendous impact at the box office, grossing ₹415 crores worldwide within just a few days, and is set to surpass ₹500 crores. In North America alone, it has collected $10 million, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films there. The director announced in an Instagram Live session that 60% of the second part is already shot and is expected to release by the end of 2027. The sequel will continue the story with Lord Krishna's tenth avatar, Deepika's character, and Kamal Haasan's character's attempts to prevent it. It will also explore connections between Prabhas and Kaal, as well as cameos from the first movie.
