To counter this, the BJP exaggerated the gas price reduction and initiated new schemes, shifting focus from Ujjwala. Prime Minister Modi directed ministries to expedite scheme implementation before March 2024, with specific targets. Key goals include distributing 7 crore Ayushman Bharat cards, enrolling 3.30 crore more farmers in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and providing tap water to 4 crore people. The BJP launched the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra to publicize schemes. The opposition faces the challenge of proposing distinct plans to sway voters already benefiting from government initiatives in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while the governmentand#039;s recent focus on employment indicates an awareness of the youth demographic.
